Includes lunch and transport from/to Bergen city center! Join us on a kayaking trip in the fantastic surroundings, North of Bergen. Guests on this trip will arrive at our base on Herdla and be suited up and given a safety briefing before taking to the water for a 3-hour guided tour around the protected inland islands and reefs of Herdlefjorden and Hjeltefjorden. We will pass bird reserve areas and protected Cultural Heritage ruins of the Second World War. Our experienced guides weave historical and cultural highlights into the trip, creating an experience not soon forgotten. During our break for lunch, guests may get possibly to explore some of the old ruins. Meeting Point Look for a guide or our minibus between Tourist Information and the Express Boat Terminal in Bergen city center (Strandkaien 3). Busses run on a set schedule and depart promptly at 09:30 am or 2:00 pm (2 pm departure only between 16 July -31 Aug) , so please arrive at least 10 minutes before departure (09:20 am/ 1:50 pm). (click image for full-size) Practical information Meeting point: Between Bergen Tourist Information and the Express Boat Terminal in Bergen (Strandkaien 3). Departure at exactly on time (no exceptions). The price includes kayak, personal flotation device, paddles, dry/wet-suit, sprayskirt, transport and lunch. We use double kayaks which are very stable and easy to manoeuvre. Guests should bring: sunscreen, sunglasses, a warm layer of clothes (for colder days), a change of clothes, and a waterproof case for phone/camera. Spare clothes, camera etc. can be stored in dry bags during the trip. Children must be over 7 years old Activity Duration: 3 hours No special requirements needed. All tours include a safety briefing by an experienced guide. Activity is dependent on the weather and the capability of the groups as a whole. Any activities cancelled due to weather will be rebooked to another day. Anyone under the influence of alcohol or drugs will be refused service with no refund. Have a nice trip!
